Indiana lost a quarterback and running back to injuries earlier this week.
Saturday, the Hoosiers lost a game.
Penn State limited IU to 256 total yards of offense, defeating the Hoosiers 16-10 Saturday at Memorial Stadium.
Starting quarterback Edward Wright-Baker missed the game after suffering an ankle sprain. He didn't practice this week. Running back D'Angelo Roberts suffered a concussion on Tuesday and did not play.

Key play: Matt McGloin completed a 74-yard touchdown to Derek Moye to give Penn State a 13-3 lead with 1:31 to go in the third quarter.
Key number: 10. As in the number of three-and-out series for the Hoosiers.
More stats: Dusty Kiel completed 22 of 45 passes for 184 yards. He had one touchdown and one interception in the first start of his career. … Damarlo Belcher had six catches for 60 yards. Ted Bolser had four catches for 46 yards and one touchdown. … Safety Forisse Hardin made his first career interception.
Injury report: In addition to Wright-Baker, Indiana coach Kevin Wilson rattled off a list of injuries for the Hoosiers.
"You've got Damarlo coming off a (knee) injury. You've got Duwyce (Wilson) who's been out with a back, you've got Kofi (Hughes) who has been fighting an ankle. You've got D'Angelo Roberts who had a concussion on Tuesday and he was out. You had a few skill guys out," Wilson said.
Safety Jarrell Drane was also out with an ankle injury.
