Right wing Jean-Michel Rizk has been released by Hershey of the American Hockey League and will be in Fort Wayne when training camp opens next Monday.
There are still three players expected to join the Komets that are trying out for AHL teams: defenseman Frankie DeAngelis with Worcester, plus forward Tom Mele and defenseman Tristin Llewellyn with Springfield.
Defenseman Craig Cescon, traded from Fort Wayne to Wichita last week for Jesse Bennefield, was released by Chicago of the AHL, too.
Also, the Komets still have not finalized the signing of a 30th player for training camp, but it will be a goaltender, general manager David Franke said.
- And don't forget to do this -- click here -- and if you just want me to send a player's name with nothing more, that's fine, too. But please e-mail it.
