New place to collect those little bits of paper you don't want to throw out

A friend pointed me in the direction of K&C Company when I mused on Facebook that I needed a topic for the blog.

See, the company has come out with what it's calling the SMASH Book (TM). Think of it as a junk drawer for things you might clip from a magazine, or brochures you may pick up while out and about. They aren't really worthy of a scrapbook page, but you'd like to hang on to them. (I've been doing this with various free patterns from the Internet, just in a sheet protectors and three-ring binders.)

When I first saw it, I thought, "Cool, a paper version of Pinterest." Then, I realized, it's a well-marketed, spiral notebook with a spot to hold a pen.

But, it is a great idea. You know, if you really want to keep those desktop calendar pages with funny messages on them, or concert tickets from the first show you saw with your sweetie, the SMASH Book (TM) is where you can do it.

Check out the promo video here.

And, of course, there is more than just spiral notebooks in the SMASH line.
