The opponent's view

Here's what Minnesota coach Jerry Kill said about Purdue during his weekly news conference.

"Offensively they're structured very similar to what Michigan does in the running game. They do a lot of things that make you mentally think. So they've got a lot of little gimmicks and things of that nature," Kill said. "We played Purdue a couple years ago where I was before. So we've got a good idea. "… They've got a balanced attack. They're a good football team, all those kind of things. But right now we've got to worry about our kids mentally thinking that we've got to do what we need to do to get better. I think that is the biggest challenge we've got. We've got to get them mentally ready to play this game and learn how to do that. So that's what our challenge is."
