Tag, it's Northrop's turn

North Side will play at Northrop on Thursday because Snider has a home game the same week and got to play Friday against Wayne, and Northrop had a scheduling conflict on Saturday.

So when both teams drew home games in the IHSAA football sectional pairings, the Bruins got the first pick of hosting duties in the postseason.

And Northrop chose to play host to the rematch against North Side on a Friday (Oct. 21), so Snider's sectional game against South Side will be on a Saturday (Oct. 22).

Speaking of the Bruins, the team that finished 0-10 two years ago has won four straight heading into Thursday's game having won four straight for the first time since 2003.

The play of sophomore quarterback Colin Brockhouse has been a big part of it. Brockhouse tied a school record with four touchdown passes last week in a 47-13 win over Wayne.

Brockhouse has thrown for 1,525 yards this year.
