A frank-ly despicable act

It's not as if Tiger Woods doesn't have enough to deal with these days, what with trying to locate a touch on the golf course that remains, for the most part, stubbornly in hiding.

Now fans are attacking him with food.

Woods was sizing up a putt on the seventh green today, on his way to a third straight 68, when a fan ran toward the green and threw a hot dog at him.

Aerodynamically, this was probably not the best choice he could have made. The bun landed well short. The hot dog made it to the green but missed Woods and rolled through a subtle downhill left-to-right break to miss the cup as well.

OK. So I made the last part of that up.

And I will resist mightily the temptation to observe that the hot dog flinger clearly chili-dipped his shot.
