Downloading Our Patterns

I've received more than the usual number of notes, lately, from people who are having trouble finding the link to our patterns. Once you are on the page containing the pattern, look for the link to the pdf.

I think people are missing the link because it's kind of small, and, also, not everyone knows the meaning of the term "pdf."

A pdf is a document that can be read, printed and saved. It's a much smaller filesize than the same document in a format like Microsoft Word. I like to use it because I know that, whether the crafter reads it on a screen or prints it out, all of the information I think should be visible will be visible.

If your computer (or tablet, or phone...) isn't set up to read pdf documents, you should check out Adobe's website about it. It is 100% free to use the Reader.

I hope this helps.

A big, fat list of every pattern we've ever published is here. Some of the links go to web pages and some of them go directly to pdfs. This is largely because I think that some of the patterns really need the context of the story around them, and some don't.
