Favorite teacher: I truly liked all of them but especially now as a kindergarten teacher, I have special memories created by Mrs. Lincoln, my kindergarten teacher at Arcola Elementary

Favorite class in school: Math

Favorite teaching memory: There are too many to mention just one, but it is always special when a former student shares with you how you have touched their life.

If you couldn’t be a teacher, what would you be? A world-traveling photographer

Nominated by: Amy Nicolet

Reason for nomination: “Mrs. Hallman truly enjoys teaching, and it shows as soon as you enter the room. She incorporates a Friday newsletter called Hallman’s Happenings to keep the parents informed about what has been going on in the classroom during the week. Kindergarten can be a difficult adjustment for some younger children, including my own. Thanks to Mrs. Hallman, my daughter can’t wait to go to school.”
