A report received Friday morning:Kendallville Police Dept. seeks your help in locating a missing person: Missing Person:Interstate 69 is closed north and south bound at the 126 mile marker due to a fatal accident in the median.
Due to the incident the interstate will closed for an extended time period during the investigation. recommend to your readers that they find alternate routes of travel and avoid this area.
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department is the primary investigating agency for this incident.

Indiana State Police said the highway was fully open by noon. Traffic was backed up for almost two and a half hours and as far as seven miles at one point for northbound traffic, state police said in a written statement.
