The Scoop

1 to 1 for One concert is Friday

Statement issued Monday:

Blackhawk Christian School and Lakewood Park Christian School will join together on Friday night, October 28th in a unique worship event called 1 to 1 for One. The evening is designed to raise funds for technology initiatives and highlight the value of Christian education.

Christian recording artists Paul Stevens and Jacob Park will perform along with over 300 students from Lakewood Park and Blackhawk Christian schools. During the event the schools will also host a canned food drive to benefit the Community Harvest Food Bank.

Each school has made a substantial investment in technology over the past year. The one to one technology initiative has equipped each student with critical tools that will prepare them for a successful future. Lakewood Park has provided each student with an iPad, while Blackhawk Christian has invested in Mac Books for classroom use and a take-home Mac Book for each high school student.

The concert begins at 7:00 pm Friday night in the worship center at Blackhawk Ministries, 7400 East State Street in Fort Wayne. The concert and worship event is open to the public.
