Show raises money for Carnegie Hall performance

Statement issued Wednesday by Fort Wayne Community Schools:

Memorial Park Middle School will host a dinner theater Friday, Oct. 28, to raise money for the school’s show choirs to take a trip to perform at Carnegie Hall.

The evening begins at 5:30 p.m. with a spaghetti and meatball dinner with salad, bread, dessert and a beverage for $5. (Dinner should be pre-ordered by Oct. 26 by calling 467-5300.)

Students will then perform “The Music Man Jr.” at 7 p.m.

Tickets for show are $8 for adults, $5 for students and $2 for pre-kindergarten students. “The Music Man Jr.” runs Oct. 27-29. Shows begin at 7 p.m. on Oct. 27 and 28 and 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 29.
