5 questions with Tyler Eifert

Next up for five questions this season in junior tight end and former Bishop Dwenger standout Tyler Eifert.

What is the most difficult part of practice for you to get through?

Just going hard, it's a fast-paced practice, so you get tired. We don't really condition, conditioning is all within practice. So continuing to push yourself when you get tired within the practice.

Is there one play in the Notre Dame playbook that you get excited about running when it's called?

None particular. There are things we game plan for against different teams that I know I will be open or are designed to go to me. Hardly ever is it the same play every week.

What is your favorite thing to do away from football?

Watch TV, golf. I can't really golf during the season. I hang out with family, be outdoors and playing golf is one of my favorites (when the season isn't going on).

Do you have a favorite TV show and why?

I watch a lot of TV shows. The finale (was on Tuesday) of "Top Shot." It's a good show. I normally don't watch (shows) on the regular channels, normally it's A&E, E! and FX and Discovery.

If you were marooned on an island, which teammate would you want with you and why?

That's a good one. Um … probably (left tackle Zack Martin). He's an outdoorsy guy, a big guy. We can help protect ourselves and manage to survive.

Let me know if there are any questions you don't like and what you'd would rather had asked. Also, if you have a player you would want to answer the questions, let me know and I'll try to get to them this season.
