South Adams unveiled its first Amy Meyer Holiday Classic, to be played Dec. 30 at the school.
The basketball tournament is named after the late Starfires standout, who was tragically killed in 2009.
The 1999 South Adams graduate is the 2nd all-time leading scorer and only the second player in school history to score over 1,000 points in her career as a Starfire. She also played at IPFW and Saint Francis.
Pairings for the tournament will be Blackhawk Christian vs. Eastside at 10 a.m. and South Adams vs. Anderson Prep Academy at noon. The consolation game will be at 6 p.m. and the championship at 8 p.m.
