Nearing the end of the second period at Memorial Coliseum, and the Komets continue to dominate the Rapid City Rush.
Fort Wayne leads it 3-0.
The Komets have goals from Jessie Bennefield, Leo Thomas on a breakaway and Colin Chaulk on a power-play shot from the top of the left circle.
And Brent Henley just had a fight with Derek Knowles, which was, pretty much, a draw.
The Komets have owned every facet of this game. They have outshot the Rush 30-10.
Interesting moment came in this period, when Rapid City's Les Reaney boarded, from behind, Tristin Llewellyn with no call. Awfully familiar, folks, and awfully dangerous.
It's amazing to see how different the Komets are tonight, after going 1-1-0 in their first two games. They look fast, sharp and eager to get going with three games in three nights.
