Breaking down IU's class

Indiana has the No. 2 recruiting class in the country, according to Rivals.com.

The Hoosiers did not officially announce their class, but it will include 5-11 guard Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell, 6-3 guard Ron Patterson, 6-7 forward Jeremy Hollowell, 6-8 forward Hanner Perea and 6-11 center Peter Jurkin. Perea is ranked No. 16 overall by Rivals.com. Ferrell is No. 17 and Hollowell is No. 48.

"The No. 2 recruiting class in the country made up of primarily kids who play basketball in the state of Indiana. It's a pretty impressive job by them to get it done," said Eric Bassi, a national recruiting analyst at Rivals.com. "Tom Crean and his staff have been very visible on the recruiting trail the last couple of summers. It's a great job by them."
