State Treasurer Richard Mourdock, who seeks the 2012 Republican nomination for Senate, is scheduled to speak Tuesday at a chili dinner sponsored by DeKalb 9-12.
The program will be at the National Military History Center, 5634 DeKalb County Road 11A (Exit 126 along Interstate 69).
A free chili dinner and dessert buffet will be from 6 to 7 p.m. The program will begin at 7 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer period with Mourdock after his speech.
Mourdock is challenging Sen. Richard Lugar, R-Ind., in next May's GOP primary election.
