Shooter's Comments:

I like to keep track of the exhibit changes at the Botanical Conservatory. The installation process is labor-intensive, colorful, and the director, Mitch Sheppard, is very welcoming, even when the facility is closed to the public. Here, I was looking for the arrival and installation of thousands of red and white poinsettia for the holiday show but then I saw these two men spraying artificial snow on several pine trees. As we shoot the flowers almost every year, this was interesting and different.

The light from the ceiling coupled with a dark background helped to highlight the flocking blowing from the gun. Plus, it was important to get both men in one photo so I could use the "Flockers" movie reference (Meet the Fockers).
