Mustache takes center stage

Democrat John Gregg, who is running for governor in 2012, sent out a fun -- and honest -- tweet Tuesday regarding a new symbol of his campaign.

"Hey -- we're selling the pins. Campaigns are expensive," he noted.

Gregg is referring to lapel pins in the shape of a mustache -- a signature facial feature for which he has long been known and refuses to shave for the sake of politics.

Alas, Political Notebook couldn't find the price of the pins or how to buy them.
