Irish announce football awards show plans

Notre Dame will hold its second football postseason award show on Dec. 9, the university announced Thursday.

The Notre Dame Football Awards Show will begin with a reception and silent auction at 6:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 8 p.m. in the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.

Award show tickets cost $40 and go on sale at noon Friday. Tickets can be purchased at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center from noon to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday, at performingarts.nd.edu or by calling the performing arts center 574-631-2800.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Notre Dame Club of St. Joseph Valley Scholarship Fund.

The Journal Gazette's Assistant Sports Editor Tony Krausz covers The University of Notre Dame.
