  • IPFW men fall at buzzer
HANOVER, N.H. – Connor Boehm made a 3-pointer at the buzzer on Friday to give Dartmouth its first victory of the season 68-67 over IPFW.
  • Video: Jacksonville game reaction
Isaiah McCray led IPFW with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Mo Evans had 11 points and seven assists.
  • IPFW home at Coliseum
With the way the IPFW men’s basketball shot the ball Monday against Jacksonville, first-year Mastodons coach Jon Coffman could only hope for more games at Memorial Coliseum.

IPFW leads Judson at half, 43-26

I was close.

In the previous blog, I had IPFW scoring 46 points in the first half of its Monday night game against Judson. The Mastodons scored 43. It would've been 46 had freshman Joe Edwards' three-point shot at the buzzer dropped.

This isn't IPFW's sharpest game, but it's playing good enough to pound Judson.

Even though Judson has just 26 points, there have been momentary defensive lapses for IPFW.

The guy who put a spark into the Mastodons was freshman back-up point guard Isaiah McCray, who has three points, two assists, but six rebounds.

Frank Gaines leads IPFW with 10 points, while Trey McCorkle and Mario Hines have eight points each.

Back at the end.
