Pre-Iowa warm-up

For having such a lousy 1-6 record, Judson has a balanced scoring attack.

Coming into tonight's 7 p.m. game against IPFW, the Eagles from Elgin, Ill., have five players averaging in double figures, led by guard Landon Skinner's 15.9 average.

Judson is an NAIA school that has lost six games in a row but none by double figures. It lost two games over the weekend - 80-77 to Bethel and 97-88 to Clarke.

Because Judson has held opponents to under 80 points only twice this season, this could be an opportunity for the Mastodons to flirt with the 100-point mark.

My guess for IPFW's points at halftime: 46.

We'll see how close I'll be.

See you at the half.
