IU leads at the end of first quarter

Indiana leads Purdue 14-7 at the end of the first quarter Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

The Hoosiers scored first on a 52-yard run by Stephen Houston with 6:50 to go in the quarter.

Purdue responded with an 80-yard touchdown drive. Caleb TerBush completed a 25-yard pass to Antavian Edison on a third-and-23 to extend the drive.

Two plays later, TerBush completed a 14-yard pass to Edison for a touchdown.

IU marched back down the field to reclaim the lead. D'Angelo Roberts scored on a 6-yard run at 1:05.
