IPFW won its second consecutive Summit League women's basketball game with an 82-76 overtime victory over UMKC on Saturday at Memorial Coliseum.
The Mastodons (4-4, 2-0) got 23 points from senior center Stephanie Rosado and 21 from sophomore guard Erin Murphy, while senior Anne Boese and freshman Haley Seibert each had 13.
UMKC (5-4, 0-2) tied the game with 0.6 second remaining in regulation on a layup from Dayon Hall-Jones, which tied the game at 65.
Rosado, who surpassed the 1,000-point career milestone, opened the overtime with a three-point shot. It was one of two baskets IPFW made in the extra period. The Mastodons made 12 of 14 free throws the rest of the overtime.
