Well, like we didn't know this was coming.
All season Kurt Busch behaved like a petulant child (Translation: "Like a Busch") for Roger Penske, so it's no shock the two are parting ways. According to the official statement, written in fluent Press Release, the parting is "mutual." What that translates to in English is, "Mutually, Penske Racing and Kurt Busch's sponsors have decided he's a pain in the tuchis, which is where the door will hit him on the way out."
He might have been gone even without the way he acted in the season finale at Homestead, but that certainly sealed the deal. Angry that a transmission failure knocked him out early, he made an obscene gesture in the direction of first lady Michelle Obama's motorcade, then launched a profanity-laced tirade at Dr. Jerry Punch and a camera crew in the garage area.
Want to know just how outrageous that was?
Tony Stewart, of all people, is one of those encouraging Busch to see a sports psychologist.
Now, that's when you know have issues.
