  • Mad Ants grab 1st win of season
    Led by 28 points from Andre Emmett, the Mad Ants got their first victory over the season Saturday night, defeating the Erie Bayhawks 103-93 in front of 4,617 fans at Erie Insurance Arena.
  • Mad Ants tough start continues
    The Mad Ants’ defense of their D-League championship has gotten off to a rough start. A 99-87 loss Friday at Erie, Pennsylvania, dropped them to 0-3 on the season.
  • Porter out tonight at Erie
    Mad Ants captain Chris Porter is out of the lineup tonight at Erie, Pennsylvania, with an elbow injury. Titus Rubles will take his place on the active roster.

Mad Ants add player

The Fort Wayne Mad Ants announced today that they have acquired Gage Daye from the available player pool.

Day, a 6-foot-2 guard, averaged 24.1 points and 5.4 assists per game as a senior at Bloomfield College (NCAA Division II). Daye was named a first team All-American by Basketball Times Magazine. He was also named the CACC and All-Met Player of the Year.

Last week the NBA D-League office announced that teams are temporarily permitted to expand their rosters to 12 in preparation for the NBA training camps to start.
