Ants lead at the half

Of those left behind, Corey Allmond is leading the Mad Ants at halftime in their 49-42 lead over Springfield on Friday at Memorial Coliseum.

Four of Allmond's teammates aren't here, as Walker Russell Jr., Cam Jones, Darnell Lazare and Ron Howard are attending NBA training camps.

That's left Allmond in charge, and he has 15 points, while Marvin Phillips has 13.

The Ants aren't shooting particularly well (17 of 46 for 37 percent), while Springfield is hitting at a 55.9 clip (19 of 34). The Armor's downfall, though, has been 13 turnovers.
