No four on the floor

As expected, the Mad Ants will be without four of their top players tonight when they face the Springfield Armor.

Walker Russell Jr. (20 points per game), Darnell Lazare (19.3), Cam Jones (18.3) and Ron Howard (16.0) are absent due to participating in NBA training camps today.

But Springfield was just as decimated by the NBA invitations.

Its top four scorers aren't in the Coliseum tonight. They are Jerry Smith (20.7), JamesOn Curry (18.3), Jeff Foote (16.0) and Dennis Horner (15.0).

That leaves L.D. Williams, a 6-foot-4 guard from Wake Forest, as the team's leading scorer with a 13.7 average.

We'll check back at the half to see how the second-teamers are doing.
