The news on Rizk

Forward Jean-Michel Rizk, who has nine goals and 12 points in 15 games as a rookie with the Komets, is out today because of a strained MCL in his knee, general manager David Franke said.

He was put on 10-day injured reserve.

Also, defenseman Dustin Molle (groin) was moved from 10- to 30-day IR.

As a reminder, Jesse Bennefield has been activated to take Rizk's place.
