Remember last week, when the Blob (in its alternate identity as a Columnist of Record) suggested that the way to kill the BCS was to stop watching the games, or shelling out money to go to them?
Well, Virginia Tech seems to be doing its part.
Here's the real shame in all this: That the BCS bowls force participating schools to eat any unused tickets from their allotments.
That's absurd. First of all, there shouldn't even be guaranteed allotments; second of all, if there are tickets left over, it should be the bowl, not the schools, who should be responsible for selling them. It is, after all, their game.
