One more Mad Ant goes to NBA camp

The number of Mad Ants players attending NBA training camps jumped to five on Monday when 6-foot-11 center Chris Hunter reported to the New York Knicks camp.

Even though Hunter has sat out the first six games of the NBA Development League season with a lingering injury, he was invited to attend the Knicks training camp.

Hunter has continued to nurse a torn Achilles' tendon that he suffered on Christmas night last season. In the seven games he played prior to the injury last season, Hunter averaged 14.0 points and 6.4 rebounds.

In the 2009-10 NBA season, he appeared in 60 games with the Golden State Warriors, averaging 4.5 points and 2.8 rebounds.
