Statement issued Tuesday:
FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The College of Visual and Performing Arts and its Departments of Theatre and Music, along with the Office of Special Events and Athletics Box Offices, are merging to streamline and simplify the Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) enthusiast’s ticket-buying experience.
Lisa Zerkle, special events manager, said “We will now provide single-source shopping for all ticketing needs at IPFW. Thanks to the Student Services Complex Project, the new box office is now located in Gates Center, next to the new Field House, with convenient parking right in front of the building.”
The new Marilyn and Jim Larson Ticket Office, which is named in their honor thanks to a generous donation, will still offer phone and walk-up sales, and tickets can still be mailed to customers for a small postage fee.
Zerkle added all university box offices will be closed between Christmas and New Year’s to complete the move to the new location in Gates Center. The Larson Ticket Office will open January 3 with regular hours of Monday through Friday, 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. All the satellite box offices will be open one hour prior to the show on event days.
