More All-American honors for Irish

Notre Dame receiver Michael Floyd, linebacker Manti Te'o and tight end Tyler Eifert earned spots on Phil Steele's All-American teams. Floyd and Te'o were each named to the second team, and Eifert was named to the third team.

Defensive end Aaron Lynch was a Steele first-team Freshman All-American. George Atkinson III was a second-team freshman pick, and defensive end Stephon Tuitt earned third-team honors.

Floyd led the Irish's offense with 95 receptions for 1,106 yards with eight touchdowns, and he is considered to be a first-round prospect for the NFL draft.

Te'o, who was also considered a first-round prospect before declaring he would return for his senior season, led Notre Dame's defense with 115 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and 4 1/2 sacks.

Eifert led all FBS tight ends with 57 receptions and was second amount tight ends in receiving yards with 713. The former Bishop Dwenger standout has submitted his paperwork to be evaluated for the draft.
