The word around the Indiana General Assembly is the bill that would effectively eliminate class basketball in Indiana will most likely die a slow death.

Some state lawmakers are saying the nostalgia of returning to a single-class postseason tournament could get the bill into a hearing but it probably won't go any further.

The IHSAA has sponsored a multiclass tournament since 1997.
