Komets cruising after 2

It looks to me like the Evansville IceMen have packed it in, now that they're down 5-2 to the Komets after two period at Memorial Coliseum.

Just about everything the IceMen are giving up are odd-man rushes.

Fort Wayne got goals in the period from Chris Auger, Colin Chaulk (his second), Brett Smith and Stephen Thorne.

It's the eighth time this season the Komets have scored at least three goals in a period. Don't know how it compares to last season, but it seems like a lot for 22 games.
