Howard returns to Ants

One-by-one, the Ants are returning.

Veteran guard Ron Howard was released by the Milwaukee Bucks and was at practice Tuesday morning and is expected to play in the Ants' game Thursday at Memorial Coliseum.

Howard is the second Ants player to return from an NBA training camp. Rookie guard Cam Jones was released by the Miami Heat and has returned to the Ants.

Prior to leaving, Howard played in just one game with the Mad Ants. He suffered a bruised foot in the opener in which he scored 16 points in 23 minutes.

To make room on the roster, the Ants released guard Gage Daye, who averaged 7.8 points in four games.
