Hope Alive receives $10,000 grant

A Fort Wayne non-profit group that offers Individual, relationship and family counseling and transitional housing for women has been awarded a $10,000 grant on Wal-Mart’s ninth day of its “12 Days of Giving” Facebook campaign.

The company made the announcement Tuesday morning.

It is awarding a total of $90,000 today to non-profits providing assistance to community members during times of hardship and adversity.

It said that over twelve consecutive days, Wal-Mart will award a total of $1.5 million to 145 organizations.
