Cathy's red Ferrari

Nothing like a red Ferrari for Christmas

I would like to thank Paula Stemen for the Amaryllis gift idea. After reading that tip, I stopped by Broadview Florist and spoke with Sandy and Doug. Doug suggested an Amaryllis – Ferrari. My wife, Cathy, has always wanted a Red Ferrari for Christmas. This one was a steal! Under $20, and made in the good ole USA!

Doug had it labeled for a February bloom but I think putting it under the plant light with my herbs sped it up. The first bloom opened up on Christmas day. Perfect timing.

Cathy has been bragging to all her friends about her Red Christmas Ferrari.
