A Milford woman was killed and a Warsaw man was seriously injured in a head-on crash Tuesday morning on Indiana 15 north of Leesburg.

Authorities were notified of the crash at 7:56 a.m. Tuesday, and Kosciusko County sheriff’s deputies and emergency workers responded to the scene south of County Road 900 North.

The Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office pronounced Kahte I. Antonides, 90, of Milford, dead at the scene.

She was driving a 2007 Ford Focus, and was believed not to be wearing a seat belt at the time, the Kosciusko County FACT crash investigation team said in a written statement.

The other driver, Ty A. Marshall, 43, of Warsaw, was pinned in his 1997 Plymouth Breeze, the statement said.

He was initially taken to an area hospital and then transported to a hospital in Fort Wayne.

The sheriff’s department said he was in serious condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
