Listening in

It's not a good sign when, on a four-game losing streak, one of the team's owners is listening in on the coach during time outs.

But that's what Tim Borne was doing in the first quarter during a Mad Ants time out, when coach Joey Meyer was addressing his team.

Munching on popcorn, Borne moved from his regular seat across from the team bench to a vacant chair behind the Ants' bench. At one time, he even got out of his chair and stood behind the players.

Meanwhile, the Ants are leading 55-54 at the half against Canton.

Darnell Lazare has scored 20 points to lead the Ants, while Canton is blistering hot from the outside, having made 8 of 11 three-pointers, including 4 of 4 from guard Antoine Agudio.
