IPFW ends losing streak

IPFW ended a three-game losing streak Tuesday with a 79-58 victory over Southern Utah at Memorial Coliseum.

The Mastodons (8-6, 2-3 Summit League) broke away from a 42-39 lead early in the second half to take a 63-49 lead on Mike Kibiloski’s three-pointer with 7:37 remaining, and were never in trouble from there.

The loss ended a three-game winning streak for Southern Utah (7-7, 2-2).

Center Trey McCorkle led IPFW with 18 points. Frank Gaines had 12, and Kibiloski added 11.
