Service slated Thursday for Aliahna Lemmon, 9

Aliahna

There will be a memorial service for Aliahna Marie Maroney Lemmon at 7 p.m. Thursday at First Assembly of God, 1400 W. Washington Center Road, with calling one hour before, according to an obituary.

Aliahna, 9, was a third-grader at Holland Elementary in Fort Wayne Community Schools.

She is survived by her father, Dawayne Maroney; mother, Tarah Souders; stepfather, Allen Souders; siblings Briana, Shaleigh, Trinity and Kyle, and grandparents Leanne and David Story.

Arrangements are being handled by D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Road.

Neighbor Michael L. Plumadore, 39, told police he was baby-sitting Aliahna when he killed her Dec. 22 and then dismembered her, according to court documents.
