Boucher gets another award

Frankly, I put zero stock into this award, since it's chosen by the teams and not neutral observers, but Fort Wayne goaltender Nick Boucher was selected first star among the "Oakley Three Stars" of the month for December.

The Komets' goaltender was 10-1-1.

He was a first star in two games, a second star four times and a third star once.

Before the game at Memorial Coliseum tonight against the Komets, the Dayton Gems acquired former CHL Rookie of the Year David Nimmo from Arizona for future considerations.

This season, he has seven goals and 24 points in 31 games.

His is 29.
