    Lou Watson, who was an All-American and later coach at Indiana, died Thursday in Fairfax, Va. He was 88. Watson was an All-American in 1950 and coached at IU from 1966-1971.

Reports: QBs leaving IU

Sophomore quarterbacks Edward Wright-Baker and Dusty Kiel have left the Indiana football program, according to multiple media reports Saturday.

Wright-Baker began the year as Indiana’s starter. He made five starts and appeared in six games in 2011.

Wright-Baker completed 91 of 153 passes for 1,029 yards. He had four touchdowns and four interceptions.

Wright-Baker also rushed for 68 yards on 46 attempts. He missed time because of an ankle injury.

Kiel, who also missed time because of an ankle injury, appeared in four games and made two starts.

He completed 39 of 82 passes for 427 yards. He threw three touchdowns and had one interception.
