Ants win in OT

The Mad Ants rallied from an eight-point deficit going into the fourth quarter to claim a 119-116 overtime victory over Dakota on Sunday at Memorial Coliseum.

Darnell Lazare's two free throws with 13.1 seconds left in overtime, and Sadiel Rojas' layup that beat the Wizards down the floor with 2.4 seconds remaining provided the winning points for the Ants (8-12).

A three-pointer at the buzzer from Dakota's Justin Johnson fell short.

Gilbert Brown's two free throws with 6.4 seconds remaining sent the game into the extra period.

Lazare led the Ants with 24 points, while Cam Jones had 22 and Brown and Ramon Harris had 20 points each.

The Ants will play Dakota (8-10) on Tuesday at the Coliseum.
