For the second time in just more than a month, a Hoosier Lottery player has hit it big in Warsaw.
A Plymouth man bought a $2 million winning Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off at a Warsaw convenience store Wednesday, the Hoosier Lottery said Monday in a statement.
While paying for a drink at the Lassus Handy Dandy, 1900 Plaza Drive, Rick Cooper picked up a Hoosier Lottery MONOPOLY scratch-off ticket and got the $2 million prize.
Cooper lives in Plymouth with his wife, April, and their seven children, the statement said.
He is a repair tech for Sands Office Equipment in Warsaw, near the convenience store where he bought the ticket. April Cooper is an activities director at Miller's Merry Manor.
"We don't have a lot of whims and desires," she said in a statement from the Hoosier Lottery. "We don't have caviar or champagne tastes. We don't need to eat steak."
They plan to buy a house and take the children to Disney World, Rick Cooper said.
Ron Redden of Winona Lake bought a $1 million winning lottery ticket Dec. 6 at 66 Center, 2518 E. Center St.
