A juvenile rufous hummingbird feeds while it snows in northwest Fort Wayne Thursday morning. Through the years, this is the 64th rufous to be recorded in the east. Rufous hummingbirds breed from the Pacific Northwest clear up into Alaska and winter in the Yucatan down in Mexico. This bird migrated east instead and was spotted around the end of October.
