Norwell senior sets record

Norwell senior Jessica Rupright became the school's all-time leading girls basketball scorer Friday against New Haven.

Rupright has 1,430 career points, one more than MacKenzie Warrick's 1,429. Warrick graduated in 2006.

Rupright, a Miami of Ohio recruit, doesn't appear to have a chance at the school's overall scoring mark held by Darin Archbold, which is at about 1,800 points.
