It's about time for Komets vs. Oilers: Part Deux.
I would say the key in this one for the Komets is to make sure they come out skating hard and fast. Seems obvious, I know, but this team is far too tentative at outset in too many games.
Remember, despite the 3-2 victory over the Oilers on Friday night, the Komets have still lost three of their last four. And the Oilers are a very young and energetic team.
The Oilers will come out hard and the Komets must match that.

- On the parting of ways between Paul Pickard and the Wings of the ECHL, I have heard from a couple places a big part of it has to do with the performance of Kalamazoo's North American Hockey League team, which is averaging a league-worst 244 fans per game. Seriously, did they really think that market could support a team in the ECHL, college (Western Michigan) and juniors? Idiotic.
