Shooter's Comments:

I was immediately drawn to the Gothic window and carved pews when I went the Auburn United Pentecostal Church to photograph a portrait of Rev. Edward and Nesta Hughes. I combined the light coming in through the windows with strobe shot through a soft box. Shooting a strobe through fabric softens the light a bit.

I had Rev. Edward sit while his wife Nesta stood to add a little variety to the photo. As it was, I had two windows, two pews and two people.
