The search of a pickup in Steuben County led authorities to discover a sawed-off shotgun and materials for making methamphetamine, the sheriffs department said.
Deputies went to the Pioneer truck stop at 6917 N. Old U.S. 27 in Fremont about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday in response to a suspicious person. They came across Stephen N. Bickle, 53, in his pickup.
